Inbox splurge
Just spent the last couple of hours trawling the TTMYGA inbox. We had over 100 emails of lovely cute animals. We've narrowed this down to four of the absolute bestest photos that have been sent in.
Siberian Husky
Susan Savage writes, "This is my pup Tatyana the Siberian Husky at about 8 weeks old." Oooh, and he's on a cute little bed too. Susan has more photos of Tatyana on flickr.
Barky the wonder-squirrel
Another from Susan who mentions, "He's actually a prairie dog, and he's giving me the eye." Again, more photos can be found on flickr.
Owl
Treve Hodsman writes - "Since I haven't seen any owls on your site yet (I could have missed it), here's one that may pass the cute test." Indeed he does Treve, indeed he does, and if you want more owls, clicking the magic link will produce an abundance.
Sneezy mouse
Rob Boylan writes, "Found this pic of a little mouse about to sneeze. Thought you might like it for your site." Hah! You know us too well. Thanks Mr Boylan. Although we do think he looks a little like Thom Yorke.

Tatyana is a girl's name -- at least in Russian.
Thom York has the greatest voice and lyrics ever made! Although he look more like a new born chicken than this mouse.

Those look like baby rats to me, not mice ~ and they're really cute.

I think they're rats too - the sneezy one looks like a dumbo rex, from the ears and curly whiskers. Too cute!
Yeah, they are almost certainly dumbo rats.. the one about to sneeze is a rex - easy to spot from curly coat and curly whiskers! Adorable pic! :)
Tat IS a girl...she's quite the princess, actually. Poor Barky (the prairie dog) is the only boy in the house.

definitely baby rats. Too much rat prejudice out there, everyone is more comfortable with the word "mouse" because it sounds more innocuous than "rat". RATS RULE!

ok, i know the mouse rat debate has gone on for a while and ppl have stated opinions, but not based in fact... they are baby rats, not mice. the reason being that although rex mice do exist, dumbo mice do not, and they definately have dumbo ears. also note that the ears are considerably smaller than the head, and mice have larger ears. and all animals have bigger paws than their bodies when babies, look at the paws, they have a lot of room to grow, if they were mice they would have to be full size to take up that much room in the person's hand, and so thier paws would look tiny and dainty.
The baby rats WIN.
Rats are the greatest animals in all the world.

Look at da eyes people, they are rat eyes, more to the front of the head, whereas micicles have theirs to the side... and baby mice are practically microscopic.

I think those are dumbo eared rats, not mice.
I'm sure it's easy to mistake baby rats for mice...especially if you've never actually taken a long enough look at the beautiful face of a rat. Yes, they're rats...obviously. The nose is the giveaway... I have a rat (my 3rd one) and to me they are the sweetest pets of the rodent world! Don't get me wrong - I adore, admire and respect all animals! (WWF supporter) Thanks for making this website so darn cute! :-)
