Goth rocker Wayne Hussey once cunningly reworked the famous aphorism, "let sleeping dogs lie", as "let sleeping dogs die" with the same sort of lyrical dexterity that Noel Gallagher used for changing "Look Back in Anger" to "Don't Look Back in Anger."
