I don't have anything to do with this website, but I've seen gripes like Gary's enough times in different venues, that I have to comment.
Why do you get upset when the stuff you put on the internet gets taken?
It's like leaving tens and twenties on your front lawn and then getting outraged over someone taking your money.
I'm not saying that taking your pictures and putting someone else's URL on them is a nice and good thing to do, nor am I defending someone who does this. But honestly, did you seriously think something like this wouldn't happen?
I do cartooning which I'd rather not be copied indescriminantly. So here's what I do: I don't post it.
I also keep my tens and twenties off the front lawn.
Of course, I don't get any exposure that way, but I'm not looking for exposure. I just draw for my own amusement.
I don't mean this to sound harsh, Gary, but instead of being indignant, maybe you would do better to invest your energies into re-thinking your decisions about posting your (lovely) media online. Maybe a visible watermark across the center of your pics would help.
