Baby foxlings

Coming a close second this week are five baby foxlets with seemingly no fear of the camera. There's a whole album of photos here, but this one of the little troopers lined up waiting for mum to come home just melts our cynical, street-hardened hearts.

Tiny, wee monkey

We all know that small means cute, so the smallest monkey in the world must be the cutest, right? Too bloody right. This Pygmy Marmoset is simply gorgeous and gives hamsters a run for their money any day.

Lion bunnies

We love stuff the juxtaposes the cute with the mighty and fearsome. Much like these little rabbits with lion style manes.

Mini Sheep

In our great voyage to catalogue the cutest things in the world we've made a discovery: dwarf animals are wonderful.

Last week we brought you tiny horses and this week we've found miniature sheep. The expression on the face of the second animal would probably make even Victoria Beckham smile.

Ickle tiny baby hedgehog

Sponge Monkey writes, "We've been looking after a little (or should that be 'ickle'?) hedgehog that we found out of sorts in our garden last week. We've called him 'Herbie'."

Awww. Look at him. Look at his little hands.

Tiger nurses piglets

Have you ever heard a quack echo? Us neither. Here's a charming picture of a tiger and her brood of piglets (adopted). It's small compensation, we know.
